The GhostBed Signature Hybrid is a balanced, medium-firm mattress—just a tad bit firmer than the Signature Foam, but pretty comparable. As with most hybrids, you’ll feel the slight bounce of the coils as they respond to your movements, tempered by the contouring foam layers closest to your body.

ProCore™ is GhostBed’s innovative approach to zoned support, where the center third of the foam layer is 33% denser than the outer thirds. This design provides much-needed support right where your body's heaviest parts (hips and midsection) tend to sink in. The outer thirds are a slightly plusher foam, providing cozy contouring for your shoulders and legs. This strategic combination helps keep your spine in its "sweet spot," so you get deeper, more restorative sleep—and fewer morning aches and pains.

When placed on a strong foundation or base, the GhostBed Signature mattress can support an industry-leading 750 pounds. 

Great news! Your GhostBed mattress never needs to be flipped, since the memory foam comfort layers are on the top side. To increase the longevity of the mattress, we recommend rotating the mattress 180 degrees or head-to-toe every 3 months.

Once you open your GhostBed mattress from its sealed, vacuum-compressed packaging, it will begin expanding right away. Most mattresses fully expand within a few hours to a full day, though in colder conditions it may take up to 5 days to fully decompress as the materials adjust to your room’s temperature. You can sleep on it the same night.

While your mattress may continue to settle slightly over the first day or two, it is ready to use almost immediately.

Sometimes—many people sleep better right away, but it’s also normal for your body to need a little time to adjust to a new mattress. If you’re coming from an older bed, the feel may be different at first, and some customers say it takes a few nights to get used to.

After that short adjustment period, most report sleeping more comfortably, staying asleep longer, and waking up feeling more rested.
