The GhostBed Climate Pro™ is a water-based cooling and heating system with one Control Hub for both sides of the bed, a built-in Sleep Hygiene™ cycle and no subscription required.

Our team has spent more than 25 years designing cooling sleep products, and when our founder Marc Werner started designing the Climate Pro™, he thought about everything: the noise, the look of the control hub, and most of all, whether it would actually keep you cool. Here's what we prioritized as we created the Climate Pro™: 

Water-based, not air-based — water moves heat far more efficiently than air; the  Climate Pro™ actively cools your sleep surface below room temperature instead of just blowing air around it.

One unit, both sides of the bed — a single Control Hub powers Queen and King sizes, with a sleek design that fits right in with your bedroom furniture.

Near-silent — runs at about 30 decibels.

GhostBed Sleep Hygiene™ — a refresh cycle that helps keep your sleep surface fresher between uses.

Designed for leak protection — the inner water channels are pressed from two layers of PVC into a single sealed piece, not separate tubes prone to failure points. Every seal and connection point is designed with long-term durability in mind.

No subscription required — temperature control, schedules, Sleep Hygiene™, and biometrics are all included at no extra cost

Works with any mattress — including memory foam and latex, and pairs with adjustable bases too.

The Climate Pro™ can heat or cool the circulating water anywhere from 60°F–105°F, within about 14°F above or below your room’s temperature. Your actual results depend on your room’s ambient temperature—a cooler bedroom may let you go a bit lower, a warmer one a bit higher. 

The system’s built-in Condensation Guard also keeps the water at a safe temperature relative to your room. Keep in mind that the temperature shown is the water temperature; what you feel on top of the bed may run a few degrees warmer, depending on the layers on your bed.

The Climate Pro™ always works toward your set temperature. How close it gets depends on your room's ambient temperature—the further apart they are, the harder the system has to work. 

For the best results, especially in a very warm or cold room, pair Climate Pro™ with your regular heating or A/C. Since the cover's quilted top layer sits between you and the water, your sleep surface will feel a few degrees warmer than the number on your display, so adjust your setting until it feels right to you.

No, the GhostBed Climate Pro™ doesn’t adjust your temperature automatically, and there’s no AI involved. You can either set a consistent temperature for the full night, or you can set a recurring schedule with temperature changes at set times (bedtime, mid-sleep and wake-up). The app’s sleep tracking can help you fine-tune your settings over time.

Water-based cooling can create condensation once a surface gets too far below the temperature of the room around it, the same reason a cold glass sweats on a humid day. That's why Climate Pro™ includes Condensation Guard, a built-in feature that keeps the water temperature right at the sweet spot, no more than 14°F above or below your room's current temp, for effective cooling while helping protect against condensation. In a 76°F bedroom, for example, that puts your lowest water temperature at around 62°F.

The GhostBed Climate Pro™ uses distilled water only, and you'll simply top off as needed. Since it runs on a closed-loop system, there’s no fixed refill schedule. Most users top off about once every few months.

The system also includes GhostBed Sleep Hygiene™, an automated cycle that circulates heated water through the cover, designed to help keep your sleep surface fresher between uses. Unlike other water-based systems, which typically call for a full disconnect-and-drain deep clean every six months, the Climate Pro™ doesn't require any system cleaners or twice-yearly draining.

The outer cover also zips off and is machine washable for easy care.

For the rest of the system, just dust the Control Hub with a dry cloth and keep its vents clear. Check the hoses now and then for kinks or pinching, and gently vacuum the Hydronic Layer as needed.

The water channels are thin and designed to be undetectable as you sleep. They are only faintly detectable if you press down on the cover directly, and even then it's subtle! We specifically designed the cover so that it does not change the firmness of your mattress.

The GhostBed Climate Pro™ runs at about 34 decibels. It’s quiet enough that you likely won't even notice it's on! Think white noise, not a loud appliance in the background.

The GhostBed Climate Pro™ runs on distilled water only. We recommend having 2 gallons on-hand when you first set up the system: 1 gallon for the initial fill, plus extra for future top-offs. The Climate Pro™ runs on a closed water loop (as opposed to releasing water like a humidifier), so most users find they only need to top off once every few months.

No draining or replacement schedule required. The Climate Pro’s built-in Sleep Hygiene™ cycle helps with hands-off maintenance, circulating heated water through the cover at full fan speed to help reduce the excess humidity that dust mites, mold and mildew thrive in. You'll only need to drain the system if you're putting it into storage.

The Climate Pro™ Control Hub is compact and lightweight, so it fits easily on a nightstand or the floor. Hoses are routed to one side by default, but you're not locked in: unzip and easily switch them to the other side if that fits your room better. 

Wherever it goes, set it on a flat, stable surface. We don't recommend carpet or rugs, since a soft surface can let the Hub tip.

Give the vent on the front of the Hub at least 12 inches of open space, and avoid placing it under the bed, where dust buildup can affect performance over time. When you're filling or refilling the reservoir, keep the Hub at mattress height to avoid overflow.

The GhostBed Climate Pro™ fits mattresses up to 17 inches thick and works with the sheets you already own! The long hoses also give you flexibility in where you place the unit, with enough reach to work well with an Adjustable Base when you raise your head.

Yes! Up to 4 devices can connect over Bluetooth at the same time, and there's no limit on how many devices can have remote access over Wi-Fi. You and your partner can each control your own side from your own phone or tablet.

Yes! Everything you need day-to-day—cooling, heating, timers—is built right into the Control Hub. The app is there when you want more: scheduling, Sleep Hygiene™, or controlling your bed remotely.

No, the GhostBed Climate Pro™ works right out of the box without Wi-Fi. Set the temperature and timer for each side directly on the Control Hub and you’re all set. Wi-Fi unlocks the extras in the app, like recurring schedules, the Sleep Hygiene™ cycle and sleep tracking.

Prefer to keep them off? You can turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or both in the app, and when they’re off, they stop sending wireless signals completely. To reconnect your phone later, just unplug the Control Hub and plug it back in. If you want recurring schedules with only one turned on, Wi-Fi lets your schedule run on its own. With Bluetooth only, keep your phone within about 90 feet of the Control Hub so your schedule can start and stop.

Nope! Every Climate Pro™ comes with full heating and cooling built in and ready to use right out of the box, no subscription required. Core temperature control, recurring schedules, Sleep Hygiene™ cycle, and biometrics are all included with your purchase.

With any water-based sleep system, leak protection matters, and we don't take it lightly. We specifically designed the cover with durable water channels instead of separate tubes stitched together, so there's nothing loose inside that can come apart over time. We've also put considerable focus into the connections and seals, along with durability and leak testing. 

Every GhostBed Climate Pro™ is also backed by a 2-year limited warranty, for peace-of-mind. If something isn't working right, our team will make it easy—call us and we'll get you a replacement part or unit. You'll talk to a real person, not an AI chatbot, and we'll move quickly to get you back up and running.

Yes, we recommend placing a mattress protector, like our waterproof GhostProtector, on your mattress underneath the GhostBed Climate Pro™. The Climate Pro™ is built with durable, sealed water channels and has gone through rigorous leak and durability testing, but a protector adds an easy extra layer of peace of mind for your mattress.

Have kids or pets? You can also add a GhostProtector on top of the Climate Pro™ to help protect the cover from spills and accidents.

The GhostBed Climate Pro™ handles all of its heating and cooling inside the Control Hub, which sits beside your bed, not in the cover. The cover circulates temperature-controlled water through the sealed channels of its Hydronic Layer. The Control Hub also has several safeguards built in:

Tilt protection: The Hub switches to standby and stops heating and cooling if it’s tipped.

Low-water protection: The Hub alerts you and switches to standby until you add water.

Overheat protection: The system shuts off automatically if it overheats.

Freeze protection: The system heats automatically to help keep the water from freezing.

12-hour auto shut-off: The Hub turns off after 12 hours of continuous use.

For best results, keep the Hub on a flat, stable, hard surface. Use distilled water only, and check the hoses now and then for kinks or pinching.

The GhostBed Climate Pro™ comes with a 2-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship or structure, including leaks or failures in the water channels, hose connections or seals caused by a manufacturing defect under normal household use. During the first year, we cover all service and transportation costs. In the second year, those costs are your responsibility.

The warranty doesn’t cover:
- Accidental damage or pet damage
- Misuse or improper maintenance, such as using non-distilled water
- Damage to your mattress, bedding or other property from leaks or spills
