GhostBed Massage Foam

The GhostBed Massage is like nothing you’ve ever experienced! As you start your massage, you'll feel the air cells beneath you inflating and deflating. You can choose from a variety of preset programs, like gentle rolling and waves. Play around to find what you like! 

The pressurized air works to compress and decompress your muscles, which can help stimulate local blood flow. Dial up the intensity for a similar stretch to a foam roller, or keep it low-intensity as a way to relax and soothe sore areas. 

Keep in mind it’s a little different from a deep-tissue massage at a spa or the percussive movements you might be used to from a massage chair. Air pressure massage might be a new sensation for you, but we know you’re going to love it.

Nope! The air cells in the Ghost Massage layer are soft, thin and undetectable when there aren’t any programs running. All you’ll feel is the ultra-comfortable (and cooling) cover and the cushiony, pressure-relieving foam layers beneath you.

All the components are sewn securely into the mattress, except for the control boxes and the air tube connector. There are just a few steps you’ll need to do after you’ve unboxed everything.

While your mattress is decompressing, here are the steps you’ll take:

1. Connect the air tubes in the mattress to the control box. 
2. Plug the control box into an outlet.
3. Repeat with the other air tubes and control box.
4. Press the power button on each remote.

That’s it! You can tuck the control boxes under your bed so they’re out of the way. Once your mattress has fully decompressed, it’s time to try out the massage settings!

Note: Twin XL mattresses have one massage unit inside, so you’ll have one control box and hose.

The GhostBed Massage offers a unique mattress experience with built-in air pressure massage. With this type of massage, air cells directly below you inflate and deflate to apply soft pressure and gently stretch your muscles. 

The Adjustable Base, on the other hand, uses vibration technology. The motor is located on the base, but it’s powerful enough that you can feel it all the way through your mattress. You can choose between head or foot, multiple preset modes, and 3 intensities to customize your experience.

They both feel amazing, so it’s up to you to find your preference! 

Nope! You’ll just need an open electrical outlet within five feet of your bed so you can connect the control boxes. We recommend using a surge protector if you’re planning to use our luxury Adjustable Base with your mattress, as then you’ll need a total of three open outlets.

The GhostBed Massage works with any sturdy bed frame, including our All-in-One Foundation and Adjustable Base.

With the dual-sided design, you'll just need to choose a side of the bed (left or right) for the best massage experience. Then, you can position yourself in whatever way you’d like—back, side or stomach—to spot-treat certain areas.

If your remote is fully charged and still not working, it may need to be re-paired to your control box. Press the “Home” button. Scroll down and select “Settings” and then select “Bluetooth.” Select the network code that is marked on the bottom of your control box.

If you’re trying to deflate the air cells, make sure the remote is unplugged from the control box. It will not deflate if it’s plugged in.
