Absolutely! The GhostBed Adjustable Base will fit anywhere that a regular foundation or box spring does, as long as there is a clear opening for the base to drop down into. If you have a frame with slats or storage drawers, for example, you would need to remove those in order for it to fit.

When you walk and stand, all of your bodyweight presses down toward the ground. (Yep, that’s gravity at work.) The same is true when we sleep, as your body presses down into your mattress. Unfortunately, that constant pressure can aggravate your back, neck and spine when you’re getting your shut-eye.

Now, imagine if all that pressure were gone. With your adjustable base set at “zero gravity” mode, you get that near-weightless, almost-floating sensation that feels oh-so-comfortable.

When you set the bed frame to the zero gravity position, your legs and head are raised at just the right angle to distribute your weight evenly. The angle of your thighs and torso are aligned as the upper body and head are raised a bit, the knees are slightly bent as the legs are raised to about heart level, and your spine is supported in a slightly-curved shape. The result? A natural position that alleviates lower back pain, increases your circulation and encourages healthy (and relaxed!) sleep.

Your adjustable power base will arrive at your door pre-assembled with just a few additional steps required. Simply unbox the folded frame on the floor upside down, slide the locking frame bolts to keep the mechanism in place and then attach the legs and retainer bar. That’s it!
